| calling all purebloods |

I want to make a game that is not typical of the HP universe. And by that, I mean a game set in the 50-60s era that focuses on the politics of pureblood families.
I find the Post-Grindelwald/Pre-Voldemort era fascinating, and wonder exactly how it is that the pureblood families keep Britain's economy from tanking, amongst other things. That and I find pureblood worlds to be interesting in general, and I really, dearly love navigating them.
The thing with people who play pureblood families in games, is that they tend to play the children of these important families, and always lose sight of the family itself. They often forget why their family is important to begin with, and fail to understand or even determine where their family stands in regards to each other and society at large. The histories are the most important piece to the family, and the children we play in games are.. insignificant. The older generation holds all the power.
That's why I like playing older characters. Especially the older characters of pureblood families.
Anyway, so. Families. I have a list of families I find prudent to .. explore? Those marked with one asterisk (*) are high society, and then the non-marked ones are minor families, but still pureblood. Is there a family you think is pureblood and should be on the list? Let me know, and I'll debate with you about why I don't think they belong, or maybe I'll change my opinion based on your argument.

So the point of this then is to see how much interest a game like this would generate. I'm not going to lie, I sincerely suspect it'll flub because people don't want to play older characters, and maybe the premise of the game wouldn't be to your liking. There's some misconception that people above 30 can't be hot, sexy or you know, human. And, well, who likes politics?
I imagine something like this game would turn into more of a PSL, wherein you and maybe one or two others will take on a family and design it. You can design from top to bottom and put them into conversation with the other members of high born or low born families and see what happens. It would be so interesting, if it's done well.
